Following the implementation of the features in Agribazaar I played a key role in redesigning the auction screens to make bidding faster, more intuitive, and accessible for traders. I focused on simplifying the bidding process, improving real-time updates, and ensuring the interface was easy to navigate. This redesign not only improved user satisfaction but also increased engagement on the platform.

Through a UX audit of the existing auction interface and initial conversations with the product team, I identified four critical failure points:
Desktop-only platform- the majority of farmers and traders use mobile phones as their primary device .
6-step bidding process- users were timing out or abandoning mid-bid
No real-time feedback- traders had no way to tell whether their bid had been received, was competitive, or had been outbid
Complex language and small text- the interface assumed a level of financial and digital literacy that most users didn't have.

I simplified the bidding process with a quick bid option and added real-time updates, including a countdown timer. Farmers and traders gained a dashboard to monitor bid status, while the app was optimized for low connectivity. The interface was redesigned with a clean, card-based layout and clear visual cues, making it intuitive for all users.
